It seems I've been neglecting my blogging duties. Apologies to all two of you have actually read this crap. There just ain't really been shit to say. I supposed I could've blogged about the Iran election protests and stroked my ego by pretending to be a revolutionary, but fuck that. Oh, and also apparently some famous reverse Al Jolson died, and we were all supposed to care about that, but fuck it, I didn't wanna talk about that shit either. I'm bored with everything and have fuck all to say.

Embarrassing revelation time: I'm from Shreveport, LA, the same town as this talentless cretin. Lately I've been wondering just why it is we're dead fucking last in everything except unemployment and poverty. Now that I've seen this, I remember.

So I had a Maxtor USB drive with about 40 or 50 gigs of music on it, much of it rare and much of it ripped from rare vinyl that I sold on Ebay. Being the fucking genius that I am kept this hard drive on my desk, and today I managed to knock it off the desk and it then fell about 2 ft to the floor where it landed with a most impressive thud. Now all it does is beep a little tune and grind away, trying desperately to spin, and XP won't recognize it.

Always sucks to hear something like this. They were before my time, but if not for those guys a whole lot of guitar players would have never picked up the instrument. Their early stuff, along with Duane Eddy and Link Wray, should be require listening for any guitar slinger who wants to learn how to make a few rudimentary chords and scales say a whole hell of a lot.
